2. Description of Service
ViralMemeClips provides a platform for users to browse, search, and download short video clips from various media sources for personal and entertainment use. We offer both free (watermarked) and premium (watermark-free) download options.
3. Fair Use & Copyright
The clips available on ViralMemeClips are short-form excerpts intended for use under the principles of Fair Use as defined under U.S. Copyright Law (17 U.S.C. Section 107).
Our clips are provided for the following purposes:
- Commentary and Criticism - Clips may be used in video essays, reviews, and commentary
- Parody and Comedy - Clips are suitable for comedic and entertainment purposes including memes, reaction videos, and humorous content
- Educational Use - Clips may be used for teaching, analysis, and educational content
- Transformative Works - Clips are intended to be incorporated into new creative works that add new meaning or message
Each clip represents only a small portion of the original work and is not intended to serve as a substitute for the original content. Users are responsible for ensuring their use of downloaded clips complies with applicable copyright laws in their jurisdiction.
4. User Responsibilities
By using our Service, you agree to:
- Use clips only for lawful purposes consistent with fair use principles
- Not redistribute clips commercially without proper licensing from original rights holders
- Not claim ownership of the original content contained in clips
- Accept responsibility for your use of downloaded content
- Maintain accurate account information if you create an account
5. Account Terms
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. ViralMemeClips cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
6. Free and Premium Services
Free Tier: Registered users may download up to 1 watermarked clip per week at standard quality (720p).
Premium Tier: Subscribers receive unlimited downloads without watermarks at full HD quality, subject to fair use principles.
We reserve the right to modify these limits at any time with reasonable notice to users.
7. Payment and Refunds
Premium subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Refunds may be provided at our discretion within 7 days of purchase if no downloads have been made.
8. DMCA & Takedown Requests
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe any content on our platform infringes your copyright, please contact us with a valid DMCA takedown notice. We will promptly review and respond to all legitimate requests.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements.
10. Limitation of Liability
ViralMemeClips shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
